Volunteer Roles
Every role has flexible commitment levels. Find what fits your life.
Canvasser
Go door-to-door in Taylor County neighborhoods and have real conversations with voters about the issues that matter to them. Training provided — no experience needed.
Phone & Text Banker
Reach voters from the comfort of home. We'll train you on talking points and scripts. Great for people with limited mobility or busy schedules who still want to make an impact.
Event Volunteer
Help set up and staff town halls, voter registration drives, community outreach booths, and fundraising events across Abilene and Taylor County.
Precinct Captain
Be the Democratic point person for your neighborhood. Organize your block, recruit local volunteers, build relationships with neighbors, and turn out the vote.
Social Media Helper
Help grow our online presence. Create graphics, write posts, share content, and amplify our candidates and events on Facebook, Instagram, and X.
Poll Worker
Serve your county directly on Election Day by staffing a polling location. Training and a small stipend are provided by Taylor County. Open to all registered voters.
